Revitalised house style supports the positioning of Johannus Orgelbouw
Johannus Orgelbouw, one of the world’s largest organ manufacturers, is famous for building organs that produce sound electronically. Over the next few years Johannus aims to generate a 15% increase in turnover. Comrads was called in to reposition the company to help it achieve this goal.
To stand out from competitors, the communication emphasised emotion and the experience of feelings. Comrads updated the house style while keeping it recognisable. The photographs concentrate on people and the environment in relation to organs – rather than on the technical possibilities. The revitalised house style appeals the entire target group, which encompasses several faiths. The communication and exposure, which had been fairly arbitrary up until then, was made more consistent. Comrads also developed distinctive communication grids for corporate communication, consumer communication and signing. This ensures that Johannus’ image is consistent with its new positioning.
